The Preferred Land Reuse Plan for Chaffee
Crossing includes future industrial and residential property. There
will also be future office and retail space, parks, and recreation
areas.
The proximity of I-49 to the new commercial
and industrial park gives Chaffee Crossing an advantage in attracting
industries from other states interested in locating to an area that
promises to be a future hub for nationwide intermodal transportation.
Several natural and historical sites provide
prime locations for family activities such as picnics and get-togethers.
The Wells Lake area is accessible for fishing, hiking and other
outdoor recreation. Golfers will enjoy the nine-hole Deer Trails
Fort Chaffee Golf Course. There are currently miles and miles of
biking and jogging trails.
