Lei Lei’s 5K & Memory Mile
The annual Lei Lei’s 5K & Memory Mile returns for its 14th year. The race uses the pavilion on the north side of Wells Lake by the Janet Huckabee Nature Center. Participants will start on Wells Lake Road, go down to The Haven, and finish back at the Wells Lake trail around the lake. This event honors loved ones, supports community connection, and offers a beautiful trail run by the water.
Because We Care Run | 5K / 10K Run
Join us for the Because We Care Run, a community 5K/10K benefiting the WeCare Foundation. The race takes place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, beginning at 8:00 AM and ending at noon. This will be a professionally timed event and will require certain streets in the Chaffee Crossing area to be closed for runners’ safety. Come out, bring friends and family, and support a great local cause!
Blacksheep 5K
The Blacksheep 5K is returning to Chaffee Crossing for 2026! Join Project Hope – Arkansas and Saving Grace – Arkansas for a charity race benefiting local community initiatives. Lace up, bring friends, and support a great cause on Saturday, September 12, 2026.

Elvis is Back in the Building at Chaffee!
Join us on Saturday, August 23rd from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Chaffee Barbershop & Military Museum for a special appearance by Elvis Presley reenactor Finley Watkins. Snap photos, enjoy a meet-and-greet, and cool off with Andy’s Frozen Custard. Finley will be performing at the Sebastian County Fair this year, and has previously appeared on television shows such as The Ellen Show and NBC’s Little Big Shots. You will not want to miss this ~moment to step back in time when Elvis marched into Chaffee!
